FOOD + FOOD · CREOCORTEX
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
This policy explains how CreoCortex handles information when you use the Food + Food game, its account services, and these Food + Food web pages.
Information we handle and why
Your game and device
The game stores kitchen layouts, recipes, tutorial progress, event results, currencies, purchase-delivery records, and settings on your device. Local saves let you continue playing and help prevent the same purchase from being delivered twice. Kitchen progress is not currently a full cloud save.
Optional Google sign-in
If you choose to sign in, Google and our account service process your Google identifier, name, email address, and email-verification status to create and manage your Food + Food account. The game stores sign-in credentials securely on your Android device to maintain your session. You can play without signing in.
Our account service stores a game player identifier, account creation information, and an account wallet. Account services also handle transaction and reward-verification records when those services are used.
Purchases
Google Play and RevenueCat process and verify in-app purchases. We use product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase dates, and delivery records to provide Golden Eggs, investigate purchase problems, prevent duplicate delivery, and understand purchase performance. RevenueCat uses an anonymous identifier for guests or a linked game account identifier after sign-in. Payment details are entered through the store checkout.
Rewarded ads
Google AdMob serves rewarded ads. Its SDK handles information such as IP address, which can indicate approximate location; advertising, app, or device identifiers; app and ad interactions, such as app launches, taps, and video views; and diagnostic information. This supports ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Data handling depends on the applicable privacy choices and SDK settings.
The game also sends ad events and reward-verification information to RevenueCat, including ad and impression identifiers, placement, interaction events, and reported ad revenue. This helps measure ad performance and verify rewarded activity.
Website, downloads, and support
Our hosting providers process network and request information to deliver these pages, game content, and account services. Service logs help diagnose errors and protect the service. These Food + Food web pages use optional Google Analytics as described below. They do not include advertising scripts or a newsletter signup.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to include. We use them to answer your request, troubleshoot the game, or handle an account or data request.
Website analytics and cookies
If you choose Allow, we load Google Analytics to understand visits to the Food + Food pages and interactions such as opening the Early Access form or the Google Play testing link. Google processes analytics cookie identifiers, page and interaction information, referral information, and browser/device information. Network information, including your IP address, is processed when communicating with Google and can be used to derive approximate location. We use these reports to improve the website.
Our analytics configuration uses each page’s canonical address without query strings or fragments and limits the reported referrer to its website origin. Our signup-link events do not include registration answers or your Google-account email, and a click is not treated as a completed registration. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled for these pages.
Google Analytics is not loaded before you allow it or after you choose Decline. Your choice is remembered on this browser for up to 180 days; our Food + Food analytics cookies are also configured with a 180-day lifetime. You can change your choice through Analytics preferences in any page’s footer. Withdrawing permission stops further collection from these pages and clears their analytics cookies; it does not erase reports already received by Google. For questions about previously collected information, contact us. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Early Access registration
If you register for the closed test, our linked Google Form collects your verified Google-account email, your testing-participation response, any optional Android device model you provide, and the submission time. Responses are stored in Google Forms and a private Google Sheet managed by CreoCortex. We use them to manage tester access, send installation instructions, and follow up on test feedback. Your Google Play email is added to a tester list in Google Play Console when access is granted.
Registration is voluntary and is not a newsletter subscription. Google also handles information under its own privacy policy when you use Forms or sign in. To withdraw your registration or request removal of signup information, email support@creocortex.com. Registration records do not currently have a fixed published retention period; we handle removal requests through support.
Service providers and data sharing
Food + Food uses the following services for the purposes described above:
- Google: optional sign-in, Google Play purchases and tester access, AdMob rewarded ads, advertising privacy messages, registration through Google Forms and Sheets, and optional website analytics. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosures.
- RevenueCat: purchase processing, validation and reporting, customer identifiers, ad measurement, and reward verification. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
- Amazon Web Services: website and content delivery, sign-in infrastructure, account records, and service logs. See AWS’s Privacy Notice.
Our services and providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Store and provider records are also subject to their own policies and applicable requirements.
How information is protected
The website and account services use HTTPS. Account requests require authentication, and the Android app uses encrypted storage for saved sign-in credentials. Access to account-service data is restricted to authorized operations. Please do not include passwords, authentication tokens, or full payment-card details in support messages.
How long information is kept
Local game data stays on your device until you remove it. Account profiles and wallets do not automatically expire; account deletion is handled through a verified request. See Delete Account & Data for the request process and its scope.
Purchase and reward-verification records help resolve transactions and prevent the same purchase or ad reward from being granted again. Our account service does not currently apply an automatic expiry to these records, and relevant transaction or fraud-prevention evidence may remain after account deletion.
We do not currently specify a fixed retention period for support correspondence or backup copies. Deleting active account data does not immediately erase historical backup copies. When handling a deletion request, we explain any records that remain, why they are retained, and the applicable retention period or expiry rule; if a period has not been established, we say so. Records held independently by Google Play or other providers are also subject to their own policies.
Your choices and requests
- Sign-in: using a Food + Food account is optional. Signing out ends the game’s signed-in session; account deletion is a separate request.
- Advertising: Google’s privacy messages ask for choices when required. You can also manage your advertising identifier in Android’s privacy settings. Contact us with questions about advertising data or your choices.
- Account and data deletion: use Delete Account & Data or email us. You can request deletion without the game installed. We verify ownership before taking action.
- Other privacy requests: depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Email us to make a request or raise a concern. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
If you are a parent or guardian concerned about information provided by a child, contact us so we can investigate and handle the request.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when the game or its data practices change and revise the date above. Where required, we provide additional notice or request consent before a change takes effect.
